Minna Halme is professor of Sustainability Management at Aalto University School of Business. Her research focuses on sustainability innovations, sustainable business models and collaborative innovation for poverty alleviation in low-income markets. She teaches sustainability management at Master’s, doctoral and executive MBA courses. She has lead and worked in 20 international and national sustainability in business research projects. She has served as an advisor in UN Secretary-General’s High-level Panel on Global Sustainability, received an award from the Academy of Finland for the societal impact of her research and is member of the Corporate Responsibility Advisory Board of Finland’s largest retailer, the cooperative group SOK. She is Director of Aalto Sustainability Hub (www.aalto.fi/sustainability; sub.aalto.fi) and is co-founder of Aalto Global Impact (www.aaltoglobalimpact.org/).
